Venezuela participates in the 1st International Rice Festival in Vietnam

The Minister of People's Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, arrived this Sunday in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where he will participate in the 1st International Rice Festival to be held in the province of Hau Giang.

The participation of the Bolivarian nation in this event aims to promote the development of high-quality rice production, as part of small-scale, high-yield policies, as well as the replacement of agrochemicals with bioinputs and the internationalization of agriculture.

It also seeks to establish alliances between companies, institutions and agricultural producers from both nations to promote the exchange of technologies, machinery, equipment and research and development in the agricultural area related to rice.
