Venezuela participates in China-LAC Business Summit 2024 in Nicaragua with Diana Industries

The Venezuelan company Industrias Diana is participating in the XVII China-LAC Business Summit 2024 in Nicaragua as part of actions aimed at strengthening economic ties between the Asian nation, Latin America and the Caribbean.
This is a meeting, which takes place in Managua and which has more than 220 guests from different countries and representatives of 500 Chinese and Nicaraguan companies. The Venezuelan delegation is headed by the Minister of National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas.
During the event, participants will analyze international trade trends, challenges and opportunities for the strategic relationship between China and Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the exploration of new trade routes that boost economic growth in the region.
Félix Romero, president of Diana Industries and Deputy Minister of Business and Services of the Ministry of Popular Power for Food, highlighted the relevance of Venezuela's presence at this event. Quoted in a press release from the company, he mentioned that “Venezuela is positioned as a reliable partner at the international level, committed to strengthening cooperation and contributing to the construction of a prosperous future for all.”
Romero stressed that Venezuela's participation in the XVII China-LAC Business Summit is part of the new strategic alliances promoted by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“We are sharing knowledge and highlighting the strengths of our country at this event, which provides us with the opportunity to explore new areas of business opportunity,” he said.
