Venezuela met first-round rivals in the 2024 Copa América

The draw for the 2024 Copa América was held in the city of Miami, United States, where the Venezuelan national team met their rivals in the group stage and also the formation of the other three zones.

The event was attended by the presidents, of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, and of CONMEBOL, Alejandro Domínguez, among other leaders, and the mascot and the ball of the tournament were also presented.

After the drawing of teams from each confederation in each group, the zones were formed as follows:
Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, CONCACAF 5 Canada or Trinidad and Tobago.

Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela and Jamaica.

Group C: United States, Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia.

Group D: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay CONCACAF 6 (Honduras or Costa Rica).
