Oil production in Venezuela is normal and complies with the plan outlined for increasing production in the different fields, despite the sanctions imposed by the United States Government, as reported by the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez.
Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez highlighted that at the close of March and just before the start of April, oil production in Venezuela is normal.
“PDVSA keeps the wells in production, with its own efforts, the fundamental body of its daily volume. Likewise, international companies that operate in the country without a foreign government license are fully functioning, subject to the laws of the Republic,” he explained.
He also asserted that those transnational companies whose license was revoked by the US government, at the request of failed Venezuelan extremism, “are welcome to continue participating in the production in a win-win scheme” of contracts signed with the national industry, in accordance with the Venezuelan legal framework.
“In the same way, PDVSA maintains its growing production of gas for domestic supply and is focused on export projects with international companies, as well as its domestic refining system,” he said.
Rodríguez also highlighted the unity and effort of his workers. “Venezuela is standing and executing its plan for absolute production independence dictated by President Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
