Venezuela maintains its intention to continue collaborating with the office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Tuesday with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (DDHH), Volker Türk.

Through his account on the social network X, the foreign minister reiterated Venezuela's willingness to continue collaborating with this office, provided that the principle of non-interference and mutual respect is maintained.

It also reaffirmed Venezuela's commitment to international human rights standards.

The meeting between these authorities occurred in connection with their coincidence in Geneva, Switzerland, where the 55th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN) is taking place.
