Venezuela evaluated with PAHO actions to strengthen children's programs

The sector vice-president for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, held a meeting this Friday, 09, with representatives of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), to evaluate strategies to strengthen the National Maternal and Child Program.
In his account on the social network X, he noted that representatives of PAHO participated in the meeting, “Dr. Bremen DuMuccio, maternal health advisor of the Latin American Center for Perinatology and Maternal Health, Dr. Pablo Durán, perinatal health advisor of the Latin American Center for Perinatology and Maternal Health, and Dr. Jonas Gonseth, advisor responsible for quality of care at PAHO.”
The meeting aimed to create strategies to improve the quality of care for pregnant women, mothers and newborns in the country.
This children's program aims to serve women and children, providing them with comprehensive health care, with different treatments.
