Venezuela echoed its ancient sounds and knowledge at the Cuban Craft Fair

Through its social networks, the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture highlighted Venezuela's participation in the 26th edition of the International Craft Fair, which took place in Havana, Cuba, in which the ancient sounds and knowledge of our country resounded with demonstration workshops.
In this sense, according to Venezolana de Televisión, Miranda's ceramist, Richard Mendoza, taught more than 40 young people in his workshop how to make ocarinas, a wind musical instrument that produces sound due to the vibration of the air inside.
In addition, among the novelties brought by Venezuela to the current edition, are traditional wooden toys, indigenous basketry and clothing made with natural fabric.
In this way, Venezuela and Cuba strengthen their cultural relations, and at this knowledge fair it was a great opportunity since they brought Venezuelan crafts closer to Cuban youth, and thanks to the Cuban Association of Artistic Artisans (ACCA) and its president, the also artisan Roberto Ripoll, the ministry highlighted in its network message.
Caracas and Havana promote cultural transparency and the entrenchment of national identity through the crafts that, today, the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, promote throughout the Caribbean, published by the authorities of the Venezuelan cultural office.
