Venezuela denounces that the United States prevented the country from participating in the Assembly of the American Sports Council

This Thursday, April 25, the Bolivarian Government issued a statement in which it denounces and rejects the irregular action of the United States, which unjustifiably denied accreditation and access to the representative of Venezuela in the XXIV Assembly of the American Sports Council (CADE), held in Washington.

The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his account on the social network X, in which he emphasized that the United States “violates the fundamental principles of sports, denying the participation of # Venezuela, in an unjustified way, in the Assembly of the American Sports Council (CADE), held in Washington.”

In the message, the foreign minister attached the aforementioned communiqué, which states that this action “represents a flagrant violation of the provisions of the internal regulations and the fundamental principles of Olympism”.
