This Sunday, through an official statement, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounced a campaign financed by the transnational company Exxon Mobil and supported by the Government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana against the constitutional obligation of the Venezuelan State to establish a comprehensive policy, in land, island and maritime border areas, to preserve, through the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), its territorial integrity, sovereignty national and the defense of the Fatherland.

“This campaign is nothing more than a ruse to flee its due responsibility, in the face of the scandalous statements of its president, Alistair Routledge, who, in addition to replacing the sovereignty of Guyana, has dared to issue threatening judgments, rejoicing at the presence of military powers in an undelimited sea, where they have received illegal oil concessions, some of them located in an incontrovertibly Venezuelan maritime area”, reiterates the statement published by Foreign Minister Yván Gil through the social network X.

In this regard, Venezuela reveals to the international community the disrespect for international law and the attempt to destabilize the region by the Government of Guyana and Exxon Mobil.
