Deputy América Pérez, second vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), spoke before the plenary of the Parliamentary Network of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (MNOAL), denounced the persecution of Venezuelan migrants in the United States, describing it as a violation of human rights.
In his speech, he called on the body to speak out against such actions.
On the other hand, Pérez highlighted Venezuelan legislative work in organizing international initiatives, such as forums against fascism, and promoted the creation of spaces for dialogue to strengthen parliamentarism.
In addition, he stressed the relevance of a multipolar approach in international relations, based on cooperation and mutual respect. She also valued the role of female leadership in diplomacy in the face of global challenges.
