The Venezuelan national baseball team dominated the United States 5-3, at the Coloso del Pacifico stadium in Tepic, in its third round of the Premier 12, which takes place in Mexico.
The Venezuelan pitcher Mario Sánchez, who controlled the North American national team, stood out in the match.
On the offensive side, Herlis Rodríguez shone with the bat, with two hits in four rounds, one run scored and one pushed. While Ángel Reyes also contributed a hit in two rounds, one run scored and one RBIed, VTV reports.
With this victory, Venezuela left its tournament record at 2-1, beat Mexico (8-4) and the United States (5-3) and fell to Panama (4-2).
