Venezuela consolidates itself in the Caribbean as a key point for supplying low-sulfur marine fuels

Bolivariana de Puertos (BOLIPORTS) strengthens its maritime capacities and promotes the positioning of Venezuela as a strategic center for the supply of marine fuels.
This progress is achieved through a national alliance with Impordiesel and the incorporation of Trafigura through its division specialized in bunkering, TFG Marine, providing its international experience and commercial capacity.
This initiative will be implemented in accordance with the IMO 2020 regulations of the International Maritime Organization and Annex VI of the MARPOL Convention, in accordance with the conditions applicable to each fuel.
It will provide the supply of three types of marine fuels: Marine Gas Oil (MGO); Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HSFO).
The regional projection of this achievement is consolidated thanks to the global reach, commercial solvency and experience of TFG Marine, combined with the operational structure of Impordiesel, positioning Venezuela on the international bunkering scene.
