Venezuela congratulates the Republic of India for exemplary democratic exercise in general elections

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela congratulated the Republic of India for the exemplary democratic exercise carried out in the general elections that were held in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1, 2024.
“The Bolivarian Government congratulates the current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for the historic victory achieved by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA),” says the official statement published on the account on the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela extends its sincerest congratulations to the Republic of India for the exemplary democratic exercise carried out in the general elections that were held in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1, 2024, a process in which around 642 million people participated.
The Bolivarian Government congratulates the current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for the historic victory achieved by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Indian People's Party “Bharatiya Janata Party” (BJP), to hold office for the third consecutive time.
In recent years, Venezuela and India have developed exemplary diplomatic relations of friendship and cooperation, which have allowed the development of projects in various areas with mutual benefits for our peoples.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its conviction that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Republic of India will continue to play a fundamental role in building a new multicentric and multipolar world.
