Venezuela congratulates President Vladimir Putin and Russia for overwhelming electoral victory

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his congratulations to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin for “the overwhelming electoral triumph in his re-election as president of the Russian Federation, for the period 2024-2030”.

Through his account on the social network X, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, attached the statement issued by the Bolivarian Government.

This statement states: “The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moro, on behalf of the Venezuelan People, congratulates President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and his political movement for the overwhelming electoral triumph in his re-election as president of the Russian Federation, for the period 2024-2030; extending his recognition to the glorious Russian people, for their deep commitment to democracy, expressed in their extraordinary participation in this successful election day”.

“The Russian people and government, with audacity and wisdom, have been able to overcome the multidimensional attacks that Russia has suffered in recent times and will continue to do so with the determination and impetus that has characterized them throughout their memorable history,” he says.

The head of state reaffirms his commitment to the friendly and bilateral relations that unite both nations to “advance mutually beneficial cooperation and continue to build a multifaceted and multipolar world”.
