Venezuela condemns new phase of criminal attacks by Israeli Zionism in Gaza

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed this Wednesday its condemnation of the new criminals of the Zionist regime of Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, where hundreds of people have been killed in the last few hours.

In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, Venezuela denounced “that this ruthless aggression, condemned by the United Nations and the entire world, which is resuming the war in Gaza, after the ceasefire that had been going on for more than two months, continues to deteriorate the existing humanitarian situation and the brutal siege against the Palestinian people and reveals, once again, the continuation of war crimes perpetrated in the Gaza Strip and Gaza. The West Bank occupied since October 7, 2023.”

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its strongest condemnation of the new phase of the criminal attacks perpetrated by the Zionist State of Israel, against several locations in the Gaza Strip, which has caused the death of hundreds of people and thousands of injuries; and also the constant destruction of homes, mosques, schools and shelters for the displaced, especially in Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah and Rafah, and caused fires in the stores of refugees west of Khan Younis, leaving many civilians trapped under the rubble.

Venezuela denounces that this ruthless aggression condemned by the United Nations and the entire world, which is resuming the war in Gaza, after the ceasefire that had lasted for more than two months, continues to deteriorate the existing humanitarian situation and the brutal siege against the Palestinian people and reveals, once again, the continuation of war crimes perpetrated in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank since October 7, 2023. These detestable barbaric acts occur under the complicity and cover-up of the United States and its international allies.

We warn that, faced with the systematic and perverse violation of the principles contemplated in international humanitarian law and the non-compliance with the provisions of all international laws and conventions, by the murderous power of Israel, it shows frantic signs of exterminating the Palestinian people and triggering a dangerous escalation of violence in the Middle East, with unimaginable global consequences.

We believe that, without further delay, it is imperative to unite our efforts, focused on the search for peace, respect for life, solidarity, justice and punishment of those responsible for these horrific genocidal massacres. The world with one voice must demand an end to this new phase of terrorist violence, a definitive ceasefire, as well as the commitment of actors on the ground, even a cessation of hostilities, the protection of human rights and fundamental guarantees for the protection of life.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and reiterates its absolute repudiation of the violent actions that murder thousands of innocent people every day in this region.
