The Deputy Minister for Latin America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Rander Peña Ramírez, participated in a solidarity mobilization for the rights of the Palestinian People, in the company of the Arab community in the sector, in commemoration of the International Day of the Land of Palestine and in rejection of the systematic genocide that has harmed the lives of thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip.

The information was provided by Peña, on his account of the social network X, in which he attached a video of his speech at the event, in which he stated that all over the planet the free Palestinian people are mobilizing to denounce the extermination committed by the Israeli terrorist regime against the native people of Palestine, in cooperation with their international allies who seek the annihilation of the Palestinian people and the theft of their territory”.

“In this regard, thousands of citizens commemorate on this date, with peaceful mobilizations around the world, the search for peace and the closure of this conflict,” he said.

Peña emphasized that “they legislated fascist laws, established apartheid, destroyed, divided, humiliated, and called me a terrorist. They murdered my joys, kidnapped my hopes, handcuffed my dreams. And when I rejected all the barbarities, and decided to defend myself, they (...) killed a terrorist.”

It also sought to unify the community and make clear the unilateral injustices that are constantly being carried out in Palestinian territory.

Palestinian Land Day is commemorated in honor of March 30, 1976, the day on which a general strike of the People of Palestine against land theft by Zionazis took place.

At that time, six Palestinians were killed and hundreds were injured while peacefully protesting against the confiscation of their land by the Israeli authorities. Since then, the Palestinian people faced decades of occupation, forced displacement, violence and systematic discrimination. Despite these challenges, their resilience and determination for justice remain unwavering.

The event was organized by the above-mentioned Vice-Ministry and the community, in a show of solidarity from the country, attended by ministers of state, representatives of the accredited diplomatic corps, social organizations, human rights defenders and the Muslim people, who sang: Stop the genocide now!
