Venezuela began its journey in the U23 Baseball World Championship with a firm step by knocking out South Africa 10-0 today at the Soberanía National Stadium, a stage that opened its doors on the first day of the tournament.

Under a fine drizzle, the Criollos began production in the same first episode, when they built a trio of races to take advantage and set the course for the game, according to the sports press. A three-pointer by Joan Delgado, combined with a defensive error and four tickets —one of them with a full base—, made it possible to settle the cluster in the face of the dispatches of the starter and finally defeated Joshua Tribe.

In the fourth episode, the ninth directed by Néstor Corridor added a score pushed by a roll to Byron Chourio's painting, and in the fifth they scored six, thanks to three blunders on the field. Braylin Antunez, with an unstoppable act, decreed the end by way of pity.
