Venezuela and UAE reaffirm willingness to strengthen bilateral relations

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Oliver Blanco, held a telephone conversation this Saturday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which they reaffirmed their will to strengthen bilateral relations between their countries.

In the dialogue, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister thanked the Arab nation for the valuable humanitarian support sent to the country after the double earthquake of June 24, while stressing the willingness to advance a joint work agenda to promote strategic sectors with mutual benefits.

In addition, the move towards the official opening of the UAE Embassy in Caracas was celebrated.

“We continue to promote an agenda of strategic cooperation, development and mutual benefit,” Minister Blanco shared on his social networks.
