Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago reinforce cooperation in gaseous hydrocarbons (+UN)

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Wednesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Affairs of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Amery Browne.
This meeting is part of the work agenda of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister at the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), which is being held in New York, United States (USA).
Through a message released on his Telegram channel, Gil explained that the conversation with his Caribbean counterpart focused on “strengthening and consolidating friendly and cooperative relations between our countries, especially in the field of gaseous hydrocarbons where we have important joint projects”.
Last July, the governments of Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago signed seven documents on energy exploration and exploitation in the Cocuina Field of the Deltana Platform, located in eastern Venezuela.
