Venezuela and the Netherlands strengthen anti-drug relations

The highest authority of the National Anti-Drug Superintendency, Danny Ferrer, held a working meeting with the police attaché of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jurgen Bakke, with the purpose of strengthening cooperation and institutional exchange in the fight against drugs.


During the meeting, the authorities reviewed issues of bilateral interest and reiterated their willingness to maintain direct communication channels to serve as liaisons with the authorities of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

“These actions reaffirm Venezuela's commitment to international cooperation on drugs, promoting peace diplomacy and co-responsibility under the guidelines of the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, to consolidate a common and effective front in the fight against the world drug problem through bilateral dialogue and regional understanding,” the institution said.
