Venezuela and Russia review common agenda at diplomatic meeting

At a diplomatic meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Oliver Blanco, met with the ambassador of the Russian Federation accredited to Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasarov.

During the meeting, both authorities reviewed the key points of the common agenda with a view to consolidating the ties of cooperation and mutual respect between the two nations.

Caracas and Moscow established diplomatic relations in March 1945. They are currently strategic in nature, strengthened by the political will of their governments and the bonds of friendship between their peoples.
