Venezuela and Iran strengthen cooperation ties in agriculture, livestock and energy

The governor of the state of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, held a meeting with representatives of the Cooperation and Welfare Fund of the Organization of Agricultural Engineering and Natural Resources of the Islamic Republic of Iran (ANRERO) in order to strengthen cooperation ties in the agricultural, livestock and energy areas. 

 “As peoples fighting against imperialism, today we are strengthening friendship with Iran, a bastion of dignity before the world,” said Luna.

Both parties took a tour of the agricultural company Indagro, located in the south of the eastern entity, a company that has more than 15,000 cattle on 18,000 hectares.

The Iranian representation was headed by the president of ANRERO, Hojjatollah Ali Mohammadi; the president and general director of the organization, respectively, Human Ashraf Talesh and Saeed Sediq, and the administrative president of Ara Mehr Avang CO, Ahmad Moghaddam Gheshlagh, according to a press release from the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) web portal.
