Venezuela and Equatorial Guinea strengthen strategic alliance in maritime transport

Before the successful 2nd Joint Commission for Equatorial Guinea-Venezuela Cooperation, held in the city Malabo between December 1 and 3, the Venezuelan ambassador accredited to the Central African country, Ana Margarita Pino Pasquier, held a meeting with the Minister of Transportation, Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence Systems, Honorato Evita Oma, to follow up on work undertaken as part of the agreements bilateral high-level parties.

Both authorities evaluated the actions inherent to the cooperation that will be implemented after the adoption of five legal instruments that lay the basis for work on issues such as information and communication technologies, technical assistance in maritime transport and recognition of certificates for crew members of maritime vessels.

The Venezuelan diplomat thanked the minister for the space for the exchange of ideas to make progress in achieving the objectives set by presidents Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Nicolás Maduro Moros, which will have a favorable impact on the prosperity and well-being of both peoples.
