As part of the strategy agenda for strengthening traffic between Venezuela and Colombia, authorities from the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) set up a technical working table to review terms and definitions to define border understanding.

This meeting, reported by the INTT in a note published on its website, was chaired by the manager of Land Transportation of this institute, Martín Zamorano, and was attended by the ambassador and head of the Colombian Foreign Ministry Unit, Gerardo Delgado; the representative of the Office for the Integration of International Affairs of the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation (MPPT), Abraham Rivas and other authorities.

During the meeting, several terms on land transport were proposed and reevaluated, used in the context of the border agreements that exist between the two countries, with the objective that with this list of definitions, Venezuela and Colombia can better manage and understand their terminologies, which will be sent to the Colombian authorities for approval.

With these actions, the INTT contributes to the consolidation of safer border transportation in Venezuela and complies with the number one apex of the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, which promotes the Integral Prevention of Life and Peace.
