Venezuela and Bolivia update justice cooperation agenda

To strengthen and update mutual areas of judicial cooperation, Venezuela and Bolivia specified an agenda of key issues related to justice, institutional strengthening and transparency.
In a review published on the website of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE), he points out that the present challenges and opportunities to expand bilateral relations were also addressed.
The meeting held at the facilities of the Ministry of Justice, located in La Paz, brought together the Venezuelan ambassador to Bolivia, Cesar Trómpia, and the Bolivian Minister of Justice, César Siles Bazar, to advance mutual collaboration in areas of common interest.
At the meeting, Trómpia stressed that “the interest expressed by Minister Siles to cooperate in the experiences we have in both countries in the area of Justice of the Peace is interesting.”
“We are sure that progress in this area will make the relationship of our Peoples stronger,” he said.
For his part, Minister Siles Bazar expressed the importance of maintaining fluid communication between the two governments, to achieve concrete agreements that benefit their peoples, and reinforce the institutionality of each nation.
The meeting also made it possible to exchange experiences in the field of justice.
Throughout the meeting, the will to move forward on a joint agenda that would allow us to face common challenges was highlighted.
The activity included a renewed commitment on the part of Venezuela and Bolivia to continue strengthening ties of cooperation and solidarity.
