The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil Pinto, held a meeting with his counterpart from the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Celinda Sosa, within the framework of the 25th Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

During the meeting, the diplomats reviewed bilateral cooperation relations as well as the challenges currently facing the region.

In addition, through his Telegram channel, the head of the Foreign Relations portfolio added that regarding this occasion, Venezuela thanked Bolivia for the solidarity shown in the face of the kidnapping of Venezuelan migrants by the United States and El Salvador.

“It is imperative that all of Latin America come together to stop the fascist wave promoted by the supremacist elite, with the objective of preventing it from leading us to a catastrophe,” he wrote.
