Venezuela and Algeria strengthen transport relations

As part of the agenda of the Venezuela-Algeria High Level Joint Commission, the transport ministers of both nations held a meeting to advance joint work to strengthen the sectors and services related to this matter.
This was reported by the Minister of People's Power for Transport, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, in his account on the social network X: “This Monday we held a fruitful meeting with Mr. Mohamed El Habib Zahana, Minister of Transport of Algeria, as part of our strategic agenda in the High-Level Joint Commission, in order to strengthen cooperation ties in aeronautical matters and to advance joint work to establish binational agreements in maritime matters, to promote transport of cargo”.
Also noteworthy was a meeting with the CEO of Air Algérie, Yacine Benslimane, for the expansion of air connections with Africa, Europe and Asia through the airlines Conviasa and Air Algérie.
Last Sunday, Venezuela inaugurated the direct flight to Algeria, a route lasting eight and a half hours, which will guarantee the consolidation of economic exchange between the two nations.
