Venezuela advocates for peace and justice for the Palestinian People (+statement)

This Wednesday, April 13, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela assured, through a statement, that it is following the worrying developments taking place in the Middle East; and reaffirmed that it advocates peace and justice for the Palestinian People and State.

“As has been warned by most countries of the International Community, peace will only be guaranteed once justice and international law are restored, mainly with regard to the Palestinian people and State. Venezuela advocates building peace with justice as most countries in the world want it,” highlighted the statement shared by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, on the social network X.

The document also emphasizes that the actions that take place in the Middle East are “the product of the genocide in Palestine and the irrationality of the Israeli regime, as well as the inaction of the United Nations System, the situation of instability in the region has dramatically worsened in recent weeks”.

On Saturday night, the Iranian army's Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (IRGC) reported the launch of dozens of kamikaze missiles and drones against Israeli targets in response to the crimes of the Zionist entity, including the attack on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on April 1, which led to the murder of 16 people, including five members and two senior commanders of the CGRI.
