Venezuela advances to the second round of the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup

The Venezuelan softball team qualified for the second round of the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup, through the wildcard spot awarded to the best third place of the three groups in the contest.
One
of the most prominent Venezuelan figures in the first round of the
tournament was David Galeno, who led the group with an average of .700, in
addition to commanding 6 offensive categories, according to Prensa Ministerio de Deporte.
The final round will be attended by:
Argentina,
Australia, Canada, Japan, Venezuela, the United States, New
Zealand, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, which will
be played in 2025 in Prince Albert in Canada.
Venezuela finished the regular round undefeated, ranking fifth in the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) ranking, with 2,450 points, behind Argentina (3141), Australia (3035), Japan (2818) and Canada (2814).
