The Venezuelan women's basketball team qualified for the final of the FIBA Americup U16 after winning a tight 74-70 victory against Argentina's national team.

The match, which took place at the Bolivarian Dome of Barquisimeto, gave them the ticket to the defining match of the South American joust against Colombia.

Albanys Ramírez was the player of the game, adding a total of 26 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals to lead hers.
