The “Vacílate La Screen Community Cinema” program continues to gain followers and spaces in the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, proof of this was the large attendance that the “El Morro” sector received for the series of activities carried out in this community aimed at promoting the so-called seventh art.

With film screenings, audiovisual production workshops and debates on issues relevant to the community, this program promoted by Mayor José Vicente Rangel, together with the deputy Gabriela Chacón, who seek to bring cinema closer to communities and promote film culture among the inhabitants of this town in Miranda.

John Gómez, Youth Director of the Sucrense City Council, coordinator of the “Vacílate la Screen Community Cinema” program, stressed that there is an increasing demand for visits scheduled to bring the cinema to various neighborhoods and communities in the town.

“This time we responded to the request of the Argelia Laya commune, through the La Fe community council in Victoria and the La Fe condominium board in the El Morro sector, they moved to this place where its inhabitants could enjoy film screenings, audiovisual production workshops and debates on the use of various film formats,” said Gómez.

It should be noted that Mayor José Vicente Rangel and Deputy Gabriela Chacón have supported this initiative, highlighting its importance in promoting culture and education among young people in the community.

Finally, the inhabitants of the sector, El Morro, Loma Alta, Providencia Street and La Residencia thanked the community leader, Ana Arreaza of the La Fe community council in Victoria and the street managers for empowering the community with cinematographic knowledge.
