USA: About 10,000 public employees of the Department of Health and Human Services will be laid off

Public employees of the United States (US) Department of Health and Human Services began to receive dismissal notices that are part of a restructuring.
In the action, the US government expects to dispense with up to 10,000 people, while the warnings came just days after the president of the North American nation, Donald Trump, took steps to strip workers of their jobs.
Last week, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , announced a plan to reform the Department of Health and Human Services, which, through its agencies, is responsible for tracking health trends and disease outbreaks, as well as funding medical research, monitoring the safety of food and medicines, and administering health insurance programs.
