Young university students from 70 study houses in the country are mobilizing, this Tuesday, from the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV) in Los Chaguaramos to the National Assembly (AN) in support of the Palestinian people.

During an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Dave Oliveros, president of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students, explained that young people will bring a manifesto to the parliament to express their indignation at “the atrocious genocide against the Palestinian people”.

In this regard, he criticized the fact that Israeli Zionism maintains a constant apolitical bombardment of schools and universities in the Gaza Strip, ending the right to study of the young people who live there.

“The main fighting flag of the student movement is access to education, and this is being taken away from the Palestinian people with the bombing of their schools,” he emphasized.

For her part, the president of the Venezuelan Federation of Middle Education Students (FEVEEM), Michell Delgado, called on the country's young people to stay on the streets in support of the Palestinian people and to demand that the bombing of Palestine cease.
