The Venezuelan U-20 Futsal team sealed their qualification to the grand final of the South American CONMEBOL category after winning the category against the Chilean team in the semifinal.

The Vinotinto U-20 demonstrated grit and collective effectiveness throughout the engagement.

One of the key plays of the match was born from the impeccable combination between Aaron Ruiz and Alexis González, who put together the play to shout the first goal of the Venezuelan semifinal, which came in González's legs.

He also highlighted the important score of the juvenile Endrick Fuenmayor, which allowed him to extend the lead.

The third, by José Ledezma, gave definitive figures to the Venezuelan scoreboard.

The Australs scored two goals, but they didn't have enough time to equalize the shares.

With this victory, Venezuela not only secures a place on the continental podium, but it will also go in search of absolute glory at home against the Brazilian national team, for the second time in its history; the first was also against Canarinha in 2004.

The Venezuelan squad is undefeated in this instance after having signed an outstanding group stage in Group A; after making their debut equaling 3-3 against Uruguay, winning consecutive victories against Bolivia (4-1), Paraguay (3-2) and Colombia (3-0).

The decisive match for the CONMEBOL U-20 Futsal 2026 title will take place this Sunday, October 4 at 6:30am (local time) at the Bolivarian Dome of Barquisimeto, in Lara state.
