This Thursday, the Secretary of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres, rejected the attack by the government of Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel on Palestine, specifically in the town of Nafah.

“The Palestinian people are suffering a lot and the attack on Rafah is unacceptable. Tensions are rising in Jerusalem and the settlers are terribly hindering the arrival of aid to Gaza,” said the UN High Representative.

Likewise, through the social network X, Guterres wrote: “In terms of speed and scale, the war in Gaza is the deadliest conflict in my time as Secretary General: for civilians, humanitarian workers, journalists and Union of Nations colleagues.”

In this regard, he demanded that “any attack on Rafah is unacceptable. It would cause another wave of misery when we need increased lifesaving aid.”
