Turned on! Harold Castro repeats as LVBP's Player of the Week

Utility Harold Castro has become the true spark plug for Leones del Caracas and is once again chosen as the Best Player of the Week in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

The haired man led the unstoppable department with 12 (3 home runs) and in bases reached with 21. In addition, he reached 10 RBIs and 6 scored, which made him worthy of winning the distinction for the second consecutive week.

Castro left an average of .441 in OBP, .677 in slugging and 1,118 in OPS.

The Caraquista player received 58% of the votes cast by the accredited press to cover the incidents of the 2024-2025 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.

Castro was accompanied in the election by Gabriel Arias of the Tiburones de La Guaira, who received a support of 21% of the electronic ballots in the process. Dominican Juan Santana (Bravos de Margarita), as well as pitchers Claudio Custodio (Margarita), Junior Guerra (Magallanes), Ben Holmes (Tigres de Aragua) and Jhon Romero (Lions) were also considered for the distinction.
