The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Caryslia Rodríguez, reported that given the need to assist the entire entity, there is a deployment of itinerant teams that will expand their attention to other affected areas of the country.

From the Republic of Panama School, in La Guaira, authorized as a comprehensive care center for the Justice System, he stressed that the Plenary Room remains in permanent session to ensure the continuity of judicial functions and provide legal guidance and human support in impacted areas, reinforcing institutional response and citizen protection.

He explained that the Venezuelan Justice System deployed itinerant teams in areas affected by the double earthquake that impacted the state of La Guaira, with the purpose of guaranteeing comprehensive legal care to affected families and keeping judicial services operational during the emergency.

Rodríguez reported that the deployment began from the Comprehensive Care Center of the Justice System installed in the transitional camp of the aforementioned School and that, at the request of regional authorities, it will be extended from this Wednesday to Catia La Mar and other sectors of the state, with the aim of reaching the most affected communities.

He specified that the strategy brings together in the same space the Judiciary, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Office of the General Public Defender, the National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (IDENNA), the Ministry of Popular Power for the Social Work Process, the Government of La Guaira, the Mayor's Office, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace and the agencies for the protection of children and adolescents, in order to provide a coordinated response to the population.

He assured that the care model also incorporates judges and justices of the peace to provide legal guidance, human support and direct assistance in communities, facilitating the resolution of procedures and the protection of the rights of people affected by the contingency.

He also highlighted that this initiative is not limited to La Guaira, but is also being developed in Caracas and in the states of Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón and Miranda, entities that registered the greatest damage after the double seismic event.
