Trump calls Biden's decision to allow Kiev to use ATACMS against Russia stupid

The president-elect of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, called Joe Biden's controversial decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range American missiles to attack the territory of the Russian Federation “stupid”.

Trump went against the outgoing tenant of the White House for authorizing Ukraine, last month, to use the ATACMS missile system provided by Washington to attack the depths of Russian territory and for making such a controversial decision without consulting him, details Hispantv.

It was a “stupid” decision, Trump said during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate. “I don't think that should have been allowed (...) certainly not just a few weeks before I take office,” he said. “Why would they do that without asking me what I thought? I wouldn't have allowed it. I think it was a big mistake,” he said.

He insinuated that he could reverse the Democratic president's decision on the use of long-range American weapons against Russia.

The Republican tycoon declared that Russia did not enter Kiev “because it didn't want it” and explained that his team plans to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky to end the ongoing conflict since February 2022.
