The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that the people of Sabana de Mendoza took to the streets and reaffirmed their commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution and President Nicolás Maduro.

Trujillo is a warrior people, a people that has witnessed endless struggles, it is a town that every time it takes to go out on the street is subtracted with the Bolivarian Revolution,” said Cabello, referring to the fact that the Trujillo people have always been an inspiration for the struggles of the Fatherland.
