A working group with supermarket chains and producers from the Andean states was held in Caracas, in order to consolidate the country's economic growth, through the dynamization of the productive sectors, which would allow us to draw lines of action to advance on this productive path in favor of the Venezuelan people.
This working meeting with representatives of the distribution chains and producers of the states of Mérida, Táchira and Trujillo, was jointly chaired by the Minister for National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas, and the head of Agriculture and Productive Lands, division general, Menry Fernández.
“With each work table, with each shared idea, we reaffirm our commitment to promote our own production dynamics, a self-effort achieved by producers, entrepreneurs and the entire sector,” said Minister Villegas.
For his part, Minister Fernández also explained in his digital networks account that the purpose of this meeting is to establish a mechanism of understanding within the framework of broad participatory social dialogue, as stated by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in order to collect all possible irregularities to resolve and strengthen the production chain.
The head of Agriculture announced that three centers for the collection and sale of agroinputs will be inaugurated next week in Timotes, Bailadores and El Vigía in the state of Mérida, with the purpose of guaranteeing producers fertilizers and seeds. “This same action will soon be replicated in the states of Trujillo and Táchira,” Fernández stressed.
