In the early morning of Friday, March 14, the total eclipse of the Moon will be visible throughout Venezuela, a phenomenon that occurs when this natural satellite passes completely through the Earth's shadow, known as Umbra.

According to a press release from the Ministry for Science and Technology (Mincyt), during this astronomical event, the Moon gradually darkens and acquires a characteristic reddish hue.

According to data provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Moon begins its entry into the darkest shadow of the Earth (U1) 1:09:33 in the morning.

At 2:25:59 A.M. you will be completely in the Umbra (U2) and the total eclipse begins, which lasts until 3:31:23, when it begins to come out of there to finish the totality phase (U3).

In this sense, the phase lasts 65 minutes and the maximum eclipse occurs at 2:59 AM. It is at this time that the Moon acquires the reddish color of the rays of sunlight refracted by the Earth's atmosphere.
