To date, Gran Misión Venezuela Mujer has registered more than five million women

To date, the Great Mission of Venezuela Women has registered 5,038,586 women, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported during the 37th broadcast of the program Con Maduro+, held in Maturín, Monagas state.

“May the projects of this Great New Generation Mission multiply by a thousand and flourish,” he said.

In this regard, he confirmed that the Bolivarian Government is building a great social movement for Venezuelan women, which “will be the Great Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement”.

“We already have 104,000 Territorial Base Committees and we are going to combine the territorial matrix, of 7 to 10 women, and the sectoral, regional and local movements that already exist,” she said.

He also commented that for each of the Vertices of the said Mission, he appointed a secretary or chief to drive the vertex.

For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Dheliz Álvarez, stated that the projects of the Great Venezuela Women Mission seek to generate jobs for women in need, but also to train them professionally in the area in which they want to develop.

In addition, with the objective of improving access to drinking water, he announced the creation of the Mini Water Purification Plants project to be managed by women in the country.
