To counteract aggressions, we need more Popular Power and, therefore, more Revolution.

Venezuelans are a historically rebellious people and in the face of fascist attacks and sanctions imposed by the American empire and the European Union, we strengthen Popular Power; that is why we say that with every aggression, there is more Revolution .
To learn about the importance
of the organization of People's Power, we can review the
2015 publication called “POPULAR POWER, STATE AND SOCIAL STRUGGLES” by Frank, PhD in political science and professor in Latin American history at the University of Toulouse , France Gaudichaud, in which he explained that “the notion of popular power
refers to this eruption of the labor and popular movement, to the mobilizations
of the dominated, exploited and subordinate organized in a
capitalist, patriarchal and hegemonic context, who, from their subaltern position and with their disruptive mobilization
force, manage to begin to create spaces of their own, autonomous and subversive power of the prevailing social order”.
Gaudichaud also noted that “for its realization, it
needs to be developed from real subjects and above all from
economic spaces, and for this reason, experiences of popular power gain
particular revolutionary force when they arise from the wage earner and the
workers, since their resistances directly threaten the reproduction and accumulation of capital”.
In this regard and due to the
importance of involving Popular Power in the management of the State, Commander Hugo Chávez, in 2007, proposed, in the first Plan of the Homeland, “planning, the organic development of the productive
forces, information on all the needs of
society systematically researched and disseminated and the satisfaction of collective
needs raised to the rank of the essential objective of public administration,
the administration of things at the service of all people, the disappearance or
reduction in intensity of class antagonisms, of social injustice”.
In our country, since
2010, we have had the Organic Law of Popular
Power, which defines, in its presentation, that “Popular Power is a
group of organizations, under the direction of the National Executive Power, that
promote citizen participation or popular initiative, that is, it promotes
the direct exercise of sovereignty, through 'participatory, leading and responsible democracy'”.
In this way, and contrary
to what the media continue to disseminate, by order of the world right, Commander Chávez said
about
popular power that “under socialism conceived in this way, it is possible to orient
spontaneity and social muscle towards the construction of a participatory
communal democracy, in which, without crushing private conscience, public and political consciousness dominates, the consciousness of
citizens integrated into groups that reflect the transformative will of the people”.
Commander Chávez also added that “the fundamental
objective is to build a socialist democracy based on Popular
Power that forms the People organized to exercise and practice it, without
forgetting that in our case, it comes from a society severely deformed by rentistic capitalism whose sociocultural dimension is expressed in
the so-called culture of oil.”
It is then that, from the coherent
vision of this policy, to demonstrate the work and strengthen the Bolivarian
Project, the Grand National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc began in recent weeks. This
is a political model that we have as a nation, for the
irreversible and revolutionary transformation of Venezuelan society, with spaces to
discuss the actions of the agenda of the Plan for the Homeland of the Seven
Transformations (7T) that will project Venezuela
for the next 30 years in areas such as: Modernizing the economy,
full independence, peace, security and territorial, social, political, ecological and
geopolitical integrity, with new lines of work that aim at
comprehensive recovery of the country.
Regarding the Congress of the Historical Bloc , the
first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, commented that “we have a
theory, we have a project, we have a strategic, sociological,
socio-political and socio-cultural vision according to the vision of the people and how to build the new political hegemony,” he stressed.
Cabello added that “the transformation of the State implies more power for the
people: since it will be done together with the people, with the people ruling and
deciding and being able, so that the people have more power every day”.
In the same order as the Historical Bloc, the World Congress
of Antifascist Youth and Students also took place
last week, at which President Nicolás Maduro Moros announced the birth of the Great Anti-Fascist Movement of Youth
and Students of Venezuela, which for two days brought together a thousand young people, 500
of them representatives of more than seventy nations, to draw strategies
against the manifestations of fascism, neofascism and similar expressions on the planet.
Among other ideas, the
president assured that Venezuela
will overcome the cyberfascism that is being committed against that nation, and pointed out that today
imperialism intends to impose a cyberfascist coup on humanity with a
war or cognitive massacre, through artificial intelligence.
He also denounced the
bill under the name Bolivar, which has just been approved by the United States House of
Representatives , in another attempt to economically suffocate
Venezuela and offend the Liberator, in addition to violating the rules of international law.
He also mentioned that in the three anti-fascist
congresses, the Founding Congress of September of this year, the
Congress at the beginning of November “which founded the League of Anti-Fascist Parliamentarians and Parliamentarians of the World”, and this Third Congress, which conclude
a founding cycle for this Great Movement of Youth and Students of the Anti-Fascist World,
were
demonstrates the ongoing struggle for a new world.
President Maduro insisted that new forms of commonwealth must be created and his own
strategies of resistance must be promoted in order to turn destiny into
consciousness, raise your flag boys, raise your strength, that there is a humanity to build.
At this event, the first
vice-president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, said: “I want to begin
by expressing our total and absolute solidarity, affection, admiration and respect
for the Palestinian people, who today continue to be massacred by fascism, to the Palestinian people who are resisting today.”
He also said that Liberator Simon Bolivar envisioned what U.S. imperialism
would become when he said that “the
United States seems destined by divine providence to plague the world with misery in the name of
freedom.” He also said that “in Venezuela, the People and the Government have decided to confront the
fascist extreme right to defend peace and tranquility.”
Fascism in Venezuela is expressed in violence in
the streets, the promotion of hatred between Venezuelans and the increase of sanctions that do not
allow the development and normal development of the nation's production and income
, which, although they do not recognize it, affect the entire country.
Among the issues on the
agenda of the World Congress of Anti-Fascist Youth and Students
are women's rights, the struggle of
student movements, workers' rights, the protection of the
environment and the formation of youth organizations to combat the
models of oppression of fascist expressions.
And since the attack is permanent, this week the US government , at the request of the
Venezuelan right, increased the number of
sanctions against Venezuelans who live in management and management positions to
increase the country's income, as well as in strategic positions that guarantee security, and as Cabello expressed last
Wednesday in
his Con El Mazo Dando program : “What benefit has
sanctioning Venezuela brought you? None... It has strengthened us as a people...
We know who is calling for invasions, bombings and attacks on our country... They still don't
understand that we are determined to be free.”
