Tiburones de la Guaira won his first victory in the grand final of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), after giving Cardenales de Lara a 6-0 shutout in a match played at the UCV University Stadium in Caracas.

In front of 20,049 attendees, La Guair took the lead in the second episode itself and then scored the rest of the races during the match, of which three of them were driven with elevations from Luis Torrens.

The team led by Oswaldo Guillén, places the series in their favor at the start of the LVBP Grand Final, waiting for the second of the final that will be played this Thursday at the University Stadium where Mexican pitchers David Reyes will face each other for Tiburones and José Luis Bravo will do it for Cardenales.
