Tiburones de La Guaira won their third 7-5 victory in the Grand Final of the LVBP 2023-2024 against Cardenales de Lara and are just one victory away from being crowned champions again after 37 years of drought.

The sharks achieved this important victory in part due to the great work of their starting pitcher, the Dominican Emilio Vargas, who threw 6 solid innings to keep the red birds in a race, as well as his great offense led by Yasel Puig, who dispatched 4-3, home run and two RBIs.

This Friday will be a rest day to resume action on Saturday in Barquisimeto. It is worth noting that the series is now placed 3-0 in favor of La Guaira, while Cardenales will try to accomplish the feat that no team has achieved in 100 years of LVBP, which is to turn the series around after falling in the first three games.
