This Sunday the IFE will have special hours due to maintenance plan

The State Railroad Institute (IFE), reported that the “Pico y Poda” plan will continue on the Ezequiel Zamora section until next Sunday, June 23.

This is a maintenance plan to ensure the operability and safety of the railway route between Caracas and the Valles del Tuy.

According to the IFE press release, scheduled maintenance, which is carried out annually, is crucial to prevent interruptions during the rainy season, eliminating the risk of branch obstructions in the catenary system. The IFE team will be dedicated to these essential tasks from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

During this time, a Temporary Single Way (VUT) will be implemented so as not to interrupt commercial service.
