With lively community participation, the Second National Popular Consultation 2026 is taking place in the Venezuelan capital, a process in which communities directly choose their community projects.
Voting centers authorized in various parishes in the Libertador municipality register an influx of citizens, including: The Zoe Xiques Silva Educational Unit (San Juan parish), the UEN Víctor Manuel Turmero Morales (Santa Rosalía parish) and the Francisco Pimentel Educational Unit (Santa Teresa parish).
“The day has come when all of us will actively participate in the Second National Popular Consultation 2026. This October 18, let's go to the appropriate voting center, where we only need to carry our identity card and best wishes to each of our communities,” said the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, through her Instagram account.
He also recalled that from the age of 15 you can participate in this great election holiday, and “in a minute support the project of your choice. Let's move on! Commune or nothing!
The Second National Popular Consultation reaffirms the exercise of participatory democracy throughout the national territory.
