They fled the genocide perpetrated by Israel! 44 Venezuelans arrive from Lebanon and Syria

This Monday, 44 repatriated compatriots from Lebanon and Syria arrived at Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport in La Guaira.

The reception was given by the Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh, who emphasized the great effort made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, under the precept of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy to guarantee the security of compatriots.

In this regard, he explained that of the returnees there are 38 Venezuelans of birth and six of Lebanese origin; who were in the Lebanese Republic and the Syrian Arab Republic and because of the genocide perpetrated by the occupying State of Israel, they found themselves in need of fleeing.

“Many of them come from combat zones, they have narrated their terrible experiences of how they were able to get out of that place where they were being attacked, bombed by the Zionist State of Israel,” he said.

The ambassador of Lebanon to Venezuela, Elías Lebbos, thanked the national government for its solidarity with the Arab peoples and added that there were 14 children on the flight.
