The young rider, Arlex Méndez, from the Alicanto Group team, Kino Táchira, won the third stage of the 60th edition of the Vuelta a Táchira.
With a time of 03 hours 01 minutes and 28 seconds, Méndez traveled 136 kilometers from Santa Bárbara de Barinas to Ciudad Bolivia.
Méndez was accompanied on the podium by Breinner Camargo from Politachira Heidy Lee Sport, who came in second place and Jhonny Araujo from the Trujillo Government took third place.
Araujo remains the leader in the overall standings, followed by Enmanuel Viloria from Confitería La Guacamaya Guacafruit and Méndez.
The fourth stage of the Tachirense round will start at the Hacienda Los Almendros with arrival in San Cristóbal, on a route of 113.1 kilometers, which includes two mountain prizes.
