The Minister for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that the start of the 2024-2025 school term will start on September 30 and will run until October 4.
During his participation in the Con Maduro+ program in its 56th edition, Rodríguez specified that the first to start activities will be the preschool level, followed by primary school and will close with the attendance of secondary school students.
“It will be gradual,” he stressed, while specifying that prior to September 16 to 27, training workshops will be held for teachers and institutional authorities.
Regarding this, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that this year the first steps will be taken in a Revolution in the quality of Venezuelan education, for which there is already an agreement with China for the incorporation of state-of-the-art technology for classrooms such as high speed internet connection and digital whiteboards.
“We must ensure that it is met, of course this will be gradual, but the objective is that 100% of classrooms have this technology,” he said.
